We "had" Internet freedom.

Once upon a time, we had freedom on the internet as we were allowed to roam freely on the vast networks of information and were given the independence to share and post information as we pleased.

Well, all that is about to chance on 1 June 2012 (for Malaysians that is).

The recent amendments to The Evidence Act 2012 that took place about a week ago will come into affect on 1 June 2012.

There isn't much to talk about this except it being a total a**hole to all internet users in the country as it gives those in "power" the rights to take action on anyone that have put up something which they deem is illegal or "wrong", on the internet, under your name or anything that can be associated back to your real identity.

Basically, if you say,

"I love my country!!!"

you are fine and the law can't/won't do anything to you.

But if you said the opposite, then you might just wake up in a cell the next morning.

Full article can be found HERE (thank to The Sun Daily)

And if you though people crying would make them remove it, you are wrong cause it is HERE to stay.

So it is time for everyone to dig back on their Facebook post & comments and delete anything that can be considered "malicious" to this lovely country, delete any blogs, tumblr, etc. that contains "country loving" remarks. Just remember, Google archived pages. so you can only delete or change so much :)
